So today is the first day of summer and time for Litha celebrations! Tonight I'll be out frolicking with the Fae as this is one of their days. I'll be asking the Goddess and God to help find a way to stop the spill which is decimating the gulf coast. The tragic loss of life is just heartbreaking.
Two weeks ago, for whatever reason, I picked up one of my books on Paganism and have been diligently reading it. I think it's the Goddess telling me I've rested on my laurels long enough. I tend to be a research nut into ancient cultures so it's good to get back to my roots. It'll take me weeks to get through this book as it's one of my larger encyclopedias. Yes, I'm a weirdo, I read occult encyclopedias LOL. I need to get my tarot cards out and charge and cleanse them. Some big life changes are coming my way and I need to do a card reading or two. Yes, the Deranged one is headed back to school in the fall. I'm doing a 6 month course in massage therapy. I may also be going for doula training. That depends on if my dance instructor can put together a weekend with her doula instructor or not. See? Life changes in a BIG way!
Today we have to go by the bank and then go pick up a new TV. After that, I'll probably fire up the music and do some bellydancing. It seems a good day to let the creative juices flow and create something beautiful. Right now I'm listening to Beats Antique and having to resist the urge to get up and do some shimmies. OK, so I AM sitting here in my chair practicing glute shimmies anyway LOL.
I'll be making a post later today with a bit of a challenge for you guys. As you know, I'm going to TribOriginal in October. I have a ton of makeup so I'm going to ask all of you makeup gurus to help me out with paring down my collection to take with me. Yes, I know, it's only June. But If I don't do it now I'll totally forget to have a list and be struggling with it all. Until then, have a wonderful monday!!!
