Victoria's Revenge...is sweet ;) - Review

I've been trying for several days to get this review done but with a little one and all the other obligations I have the time just hasn't been there. Until now.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not a beauty blogger. My blog isn't popular enough for that. Nevermind that I have too much going on to promote it to get more viewership.

When Miss K began talking about the Victoria's Revenge collection here, I was intrigued. I've been on a no buy for months now (except for some lippies when they were d/c'd) but this was just the collection I needed to break me from that. When the first glimpses were posted I said to myself, "Self, you HAVE to have this collection." I knew what I was talkin about!

When I got the package I immediately tore into it, laid out all the sample baggies and just stared at them. Trying to figure out which ones I had to have F/S jars of. The consensus? I want them ALL! I've only gotten to wear about 5 of the shades but I have swatched them all and I truly can't choose favorites.

I wore Infernal Chaos and Freakshow to class on Wednesday. It's a perfect quick combo for those days when you don't have time to do more than a couple of colors. I wore "Poison Utopia", "Nightshade" and "Gaslight Tears" the week before and they really are jam packed with color! "Skeleton Key" is one that I WILL be making a FS purchase of first. I SO don't want to be without that little gem. Since my camera leaves much to be desired, head over to Phyrra's blog here as she has lovely swatches of the collection.

Miss K certainly mixed up an incredibly beautiful collection this time. I'm hoping beyond hope that this collection becomes permanent in its entirety! It reminds me of the Vintage Ephemera with its bright and subtle colors, crafted to work beautifully together. The colors are highly pigmented and a little goes a LONG way. The colors that are too bright for my every day wear, I'll be using for dance. Since ATS makes use of a lot of really bright colors, I think they'll work REALLY well for performance especially.

I know for sure I'll be taking my samples & stash to TribOriginal in October. Never know where the next addict will come from :)
